Overview

START Centre (NTUitive Pte Ltd) is looking for a Project Engineer responsible for leading and supporting projects involving the project planning and execution, operation and upkeep of machinery and equipment used in membrane fabrication, testing, and pilot transfer. This role plays a pivotal role in executing the technology validation part of the translation process and requires experience in project execution, process operation and optimization, and pilot transfer of the translated technologies on pilot scale in collaboration with IHL’s and industry.

Requirements

  • Degree/diploma in Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering.
  • Preferably 3 years of experience in project execution in new product introduction and/or process operation and optimization.
  • Knowledge in design, operations, and process optimization of skids for water and non-water treatment applications.
  • Knowledge of, and strong adherence to high Environmental Health and Safety standards.
  • Experience in O&G/Pharmaceutical/Manufacturing production.
  • Experience in membrane science and membrane processes.
  • Experience in flat sheet and hollow fiber membrane/module fabrication testing especially for water and gas applications is a strong advantage.
  • Trained in or familiar with health, safety and environment (HSE) practices/protocols, e.g. safety risk assessment, LOTO etc.
  • Project Management skills and able to collect, compile and communicate technical information effectively to different parties.
  • Keen interest in water/non-water membrane technologies.
