Overview

Memstar is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to develop and grow local project opportunities and strategic partnerships in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge and business development acumen capabilities. You will also be responsible for proposal preparation and technical documentation for key projects and customers.

Responsibilities

Technical Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new project opportunities within Singapore and neighboring markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local engineering firms, system integrators, and end users.
  • Provide technical support to local key projects and partnership development
  • Work closely with the applications and engineering team to tailor solutions for customer needs.

 

Tender Proposal

  • Prepare and present technical write-ups.
  • Preparation of bid documents

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in water treatment, membrane technology, or industrial equipment sales.
  • Strong technical understanding of MBR/UF membrane systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage both customer-facing and internal coordination tasks effectively.
  • Experience in technical proposal writing and marketing communication is a strong plus.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for exhibitions, customer visits, or site support.
